Visual Basic Help...
Wats 'd best thing i can do w/ VB aside from deleting it?

You can do some win32 apps development that'll interact with Windows or whatnot but that's about it. VB only works on windows platforms, unlike C or Java programs which are OS independent.
We the willing, led by the unknowing, have been doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much with so little for so long that we are now qualified to do just about anything with almost nothing.

I know what you meant, but just to be picky, C isn't exactly platform independent. There is a certain amount of porting work that usually needs to be done in order to switch platforms. Also, Java is more independent than C, but it actually isn't perfect in that respect. Think, "plug and pray"

vb is good for making small application . they cann be developed in a very short time. but a very serious problem with vb is its plateform depedency
