Well, probably what Norton tryes is not to let kiddies gain acess to this site.
This is not criminal, but not for kidies either

Hmmm, My school has one of the strictest Net Nanny systems around (hardware router that filters all data (incoming and outgoing)) And even it doesnt block AntiOnline.... Hmmm, Why dont you just uninstall Norton Prental Control?

Thats what i have done but i was just concerned that other users might taunt anti-online
and think it is a criminal site, when actually its here to help.so i just thought if symantec got
enough emails from anti-online members explaining that it is a security site that symantec might remove anti-online from there parental control and anti-online could get more users
other than that anti-online could lose new comers

I use a filter called "Clean Web" and it blocks AntiOnline if it's online. It says it's a "criminal site" too. This filter works through a proxy server. They have a database of sites to block based upon sites they have reviewed and classifed as Pornographic, Criminal, etc. I think having the word "hacker" anywhere on the site is enough to get it blocked. Carolyn Meinel's site (The Happy Hacker) is blocked too.

From what I have heard, many of the companys that block antionline are removing it from the controlled channel list in the next version. I remember JP talking about it a few months ago. I guess he went through a lot of work with quite a few companies because people were being blocked for no reason.

-XSCOTTX- : Just for da f00n of it... (I know this hasn't much to do with ur post) Have u tried to enter web addresses as binary values and/or a decimal equivalent to it? or just the IP? just to see how effective the program is? many web-filters only block the direct address and IP... just thought it would be interesting to know how well they do the job at Norton

Sometimes entering the word slightly misspelled into Google and then clicking on their correction will work.
when search finishes it says "do you mean '+anarchist+cookbook'?"
Click on it, et... voila!
