how to make multiboot for windows98 or 95 and linux?

search AO and google for "dual boot linux". I'm sure you'll get a lot of docs.

most flavors of linux has its own duel boot app w/ it.

If you use Windows as your default boot, and you have other OSes, and you have a FAT-filesystem, check out XOSL. You can install it straight from windows. It's a fairly good free boot manager. It even comes with a partition manager and a cd-rom booter. You can also password-protect bootups...

Quick and easy...
1> Partion hard drive
2> Install Win 9x
3> Install linux
a> Make lilo (or grub) your installer
4> reboot machine
You will have options for dos/windows and linux when you reboot.

i think you can use bootmagic
I think it will work to for unix, I'm using it for windows multiboots. but i think it's ok for unix too..
Note: I haven't try this cause i have just started with linux to and i haven't thought to make multiboot with linux... but give a shoot.......
I am newbie who want to be programmer (~6~)

2> Install Win 9x # if you have partition magic just shrink windoze and go to step 3
3> Install linux
a> Make lilo (or grub) your installer # grub is newer easier to configure...get grubby
4> reboot machine

Note avoid FAT and VFAT where possible they are extremely outdated
Even NTFS is old
