    earth at night

Here take a look at this cool picture. I found it on czech server but originally it is taken from nasa. Links where you could find more of this are on the picture. On this picture you could see many interesting things - one of the most interesting is the border between south end north korea... So enjoy!)

Following from System_Overload's post about Idiots, this picture shows you where all the people are sleeping - where it's dark!!

On the serious side, I reckon those pictures from satellites look kool. Especially in the night you can really see the populated areas. It just shows you how big the planet is. I mean you know it's huge, but just seeing a picture like this just makes it seem more huge. I dunno - I just reckon it looks very funky.

Well it cant be dark everywhere on that map at once unless the sun blew up... so it musta took alot of copy and pasteing at different times of a day to make that picture.....

    right? = \

Itd be interesting to see half in light and half in night..

    Hehe...your funny!!

No, this ain't a picture of the WHOLE world, it's just a part of it. I think this isn't even half of the world, so I think it can be all dark in one photo.

Thanx. But i won't post here any other pictures of earth or cosmos, at least I won't do it now, maybe tomorrow. As I said - if any of you liked that picture, many more (for example photo of doomed star etc.) could be found here. So don't be afraid and try it.
