    Number patterns

I think i have the longest number pattern ever thought of.

If you take the number 41, then first add 2, then 4, then 6, so you get the numbers:
    41, 43, 47, 53 ect.

the first 40 numbers are prime!

    Sounds good buddy,
But it has been thought of before if not "ever"

Consider the polynomial : N^2 - N +41 This gives the same results that you are saying.
    N is a Natural Number + 0.

But congrats for finding out the same without any help.

    For your ken and interest:

5 is a3rd Prime and (2+3 = 5)(Add prime Numbers from 2 to xth prime including x if P is Xth prime).

    17 is a 7th prime(2+3+5+7 = 17)

    41 is a 13th prime (2+3+5+7+11+13=41)

....... i could not find after this.

    ----------------------------------------------

if interested find the significance of numbers 5,17,71 ....

Obviousness is the enemy of Correctness.
