Searched and didn't find a bug on this, so at the risk of possibly being redundant...
It would seem the poll function "over escapes" the apostrophe (') if you preview/edit the poll. The first time, it's escaped with a backslash... submitting it then escapes the backslash, too... it gets worse from there with each subsequent view.
