    Need manual

    Hey people,I just got partition magic 5.0 free with a magazine.I know what it does but i dunno how to use it,can anyone help me out by giving me a link to an online manual or sumin?

    To use partition magic (to the best of my knowledge, please someone correct me if wrong) you need to reformat the drives you're going to be playing with, then boot with the PM disk in the drive. Or so I think...

    Nope, you're just a little off there. That's the beauty of Partition Magic. You can resize non-formatted drives and still have all your data when it's finished. I'm not sure if the disk is bootable or not. It's been a few years since I've used it. I think the version I used had a windows instalation program that installed some stuff on the windows partition then rebooted the machine into the Partition Magic program. Like I said, it's been a few years.
