Mouse navigation in Linux w/ Microsoft's mice?

I was just wondering about the IntelliMouse explorer plus mouse with 4 buttons and the wheel. Can you make it so the side buttons by your thumb work as the FORWARD and BACKWARD button in netscape? i got the wheel to work but I can't get the damned buttons to help me navigate back and forward....

Not that I'm aware of. I had to switch the the standard Wheel Mouse Optical for it to work properly under tux. My intelliMouse never did work like it should and caused lock ups and a few ironious problems. Someone my have written a driver or you may choose to write your own. Good luck.
    The COOKIE TUX lives!!!!
Windows NT crashed,I am the Blue Screen of Death.
