    3D Graphical Design

    Hi guys.

I'm in a little graphic design and I mainly use Photoshop 6 and 7. I want to create a 3D image but as you Graphic Designers know, it's easier with a 3D program. Do you know a good 3D Graphical program? I'm looking for a really good one. Please help me out here.

    Thanx
    Bleh.

for your first prog get yourself a copy of cinema 4D
its prolly one of the easier 3d rendering progs to get to grips with
then once you think your ready you can move on to lightwave - but it is tres complicated (IMHO)

3D Studio Max, Maya, Lightwave, bryce 5, cinema 4d, and some discreet products. I know some more, if I remember them I will post them here.

    What about Amapi 3D (http://www.eovia.com/amapi/)

Good, yet quite simple to use.

Oh yah, Merlyn 3D (or Merlin I forgot).

    Here are some good tutorials:
    http://www.3dbuzz.com
    http://www.phong.com
    http://www.teamphotoshop.com
There are lots more, but I am lazy, so check google.com and look at other sites affiliates and links, and their affiliates and links, and on, and on.

    For some good books:
    http://www.amazon.com
    http://www.bn.com
    http://www.booksamillion.com
And simply search for the product you are using, there will be tons. And check one of those book stores if they are near you.
