    Lightbulb Funny Moment....

    Today in the morning, I was kinda bored and I was just sitting there and suddenly my firewall told me that someone was trying to find out if I had a ftp server. They had been trying the ms dos client thing( You know ftp>open>(IP) ) Well, it turns out that they had been trying that SAME METHOD for 2 hours straight and it took them 2 WHOLE HOURS to figure out that I don't have an ftp server on my computer.. Some people just amaze me..

    Hey it might have been the same Script Kiddie that was trying to run Microsoft Exploits against one of our Apache servers.

    Pretty sad really.

    Not like there are any FTP or script worms/trojans/root kits or anything... no one would ever automate something as simple as a FTP hack. *sigh*

    And all the MSSQL hacks on my Solaris honeypot are all being done by hand, too...
