I just attempted to telnet to a mail server and got this in my telnet client:

Any ideas of what this means??
Thanks

It might be an error, I'm not fully sure. It might be an error with many things. One being your client. The other being their server. Their are many reasons why it might not work. Which mail server is this?

They have different versions. Some are like:
mail from:address@domain.com
250 sender ok
---
Stuff like that. But did it let you type anything?

Is this even to your e-mail account? Did you get the server/client settings right? I would call your sys admin and get the settings, notify them of a possible bug or to help you out.
