    does anyone know of a great port scanner out there? one would be greatly appreciated.

    nmap is great for linux. personally i have no idea on windows...but try google.com and run a search for "windows portscanners"

    nmap rocks on windows too, new beta release out 3 days ago

    try Retina.....can't remember who it's from, but search on google 'retina portscanner' and you can download the trial, then get the registration code from kazaa. other than that, superscan. nscan is absolutely the best for linux.

    superscan is the best.. and u can also search at google.com there u will get bags full..
