Dealing with post break-ins
I have been reading a very interesting article regarding the retaliation/response that companies are faced with after realizing that they have been exploited/broken into. With that said I have the following quote.
"I've heard all the reasons, but just don't buy them. In a nutshell, if victims don't report computer crime, law enforcement can't catch the perpetrators. Everybody loses. "
I immensely agree with this to the point that the company at where I work has been broken into a time or two and not taken the appropriate actions. Question; are the bigger corperations getting down to business on securing their systems? In my humble opinion I feel that this isn't the case, I really don't think the United States community is really aware of the dangers that lie ahead for the security of their computers.
Just my 2 cents
