    Post new sun server at 24k is it low end?

    Sun announced it this week. Several news IT sites carried the story but at 23-30 thousand I am not sure how it is low end.

    Where do low end server prices begin?

    I'm no expert when it comes to server hardware, but I read the announcement on SunMicro's site (http://www.sun.com/servers/entry/feature_061802.html). They call the V480 "high-performance," "entry-level," and "mid-size," all in the very first paragraph!!!

    I think at least some confusion is in order.
