    search engine trouble

    after i posted in newbie security questions, i figured this forum would suit my post better.
    yes i know i am a newbie. so can anyone help me with this...i made a website and i want to distribute it to the search engines. so it can easily be found by anyone. is everything i need to do simply in these 4 tags?? what else can i do to ensure my website being found?

    Yet another misuse of the tutorials forum. IT IS FOR POSTING TUTORIALS. I swear we should have a warning message pop up when you try to post here. Anyway those four tags wont do it alone, you have to submit your site to each search engine individually, or get a program to do it for you.

    Specific forums are for specific topics. What you posted is not teaching anybody, so why post it in the tutorials forum? Just post it in chit chat, if you have a topic and you don't know where it goes, safe bet is chit chat.
