Profile Addition - birthday?
Well, after seeing JC's "Birthday" thread, was thinking perhaps it would be interesting to add in "birthday" to someone's profile (possibly with "year" optional for those that don't want to specify their age). Then, at some part of AO (possibly on a page buried like the "tools and toys" page), you can add a "list of approaching birthdays" (maybe just limited to people that have logged on withint the last two or three months?). Might be a neat addition to the community (IMO, obviously).

Interesting idea but if all "gadgets" like this were added, the interface would become unuseable I think.

you don't need to add each and every idea, but be selective. I think this would be a good idea to add, or maybe to the right of their names, show a b-day hat if it's their birthday, and you could click on that to see their age, or have an ALT="AGE" ... IDK...

(You can add your birthday by going to the "Edit Your Profile" link under the "Your Account" box on the main page)
