My posts are disappearing
At first, I made a post, about how my 75+ posts went down to around 56 posts. But now they have gone down even more into the 20's. At first, xmad. figured my posts had been deleted, and that would have been ok for some posts. But how can this many of my posts have been deleted? What happened to them?

Well, at first I had thought you might be just going crazy or that you were posting in threads that were getting nuked... but, looking at your profile (click on the magnifying glass), it would seem that it thinks you have like 77 posts to your name. So the page is, indeed, a little off...
Perhaps JP can shed some better light... *shrug* (I looked as far as to realize that the "looking glass" seemed to know about more posts than the status line)
\"Windows has detected that a gnat has farted in the general vicinity. You must reboot for changes to take affect. Reboot now?\"

Thanks for confirming it. I thought I was crazy for a while.

There are some forums that you can post in that don't count towards your total (such as the newsgroups), and if posts/threads are removed, your count goes down.
As of the time of this post, both your profile and your postbit are showing 70 posts. I went into the database by hand, and counted 70 posts. So, seems like everything's working as it should be.
If there's ever a difference between your postbit, and your profile, it's probably do to db caching issues, which tend to work themselves out within a couple of hours.
