Voice Recognition Software
At a recent Sacramento PC User's Group meeting, a company was
demonstrating its latest speech-recognition software. A
representative from the company was just about ready to start the
demonstration and asked everyone in the room to quiet down.
Just then someone in the back of the room yelled, "Format C:
Return."
Someone else chimed in: "Yes, Return!"
Unfortunately, the software worked.

ROFL.......you have to feel for the demonstrator.....LOL....gosh thats terrible....but, I don't really think that it would work, would it? I mean, you would think that the creators of the software would have put that safeguard in there....also, it's not possible to format c: while your in windows, is it?
M$ support is like shooting yourself in the left foot and then putting a band-aid on the right one.

LOL, thats hilarious. But why did they enable access to everything from the software? They should've limited access to some programs and some fuctions. Where did you get this story? I wanna read more Truly funny though. Thanks for posting it.

Yeah, they should have had a safeguard against this. A safeguard in which the software was set to recognize only the demonstrator's voice, (if the software was capable of this feature). lol

well you know.. it WAS just a joke.. and very unlikely to work for a number of reasons.
formost of which is that the recognition software needs to be trained to the users voice.
(melikesredhat.. I got it in an email from a friend)
