    Raq Servers

A Raq Server is a server that can host 1 domain or many
I own a Raq 4 server as well as admin another.
I aso admin and own several Qubes.
They are some what of a plug and play server that uses a
GUI to admin them. They run under a modified version of Red Hat.
And some call them a server appliance...
One of the biggest advantage is overall it is fairly cheep!
and you do not need to know much about Linux.

    FTP
    DNS
    Mail, including Webmail
    SSH
    Telnet(BIG SECURITY HOLE!)
    ASP
    PHP
    SSI
    Secure Web
    Web Reports
    Virtual Domains

    Qube Extras
    Auto Updates

RaQ server: manufactured by sun, it is an actual set of equipment. Its considered one of their lowend servers. More info/reviews: http://searchsolaris.techtarget.com/...833228,00.html

Virtual Server: a server/computer on the internet that is shared by multiple sites/services including FTP, WWW, mySQL databases, etc. Is really like virtual hosts. More info: http://searchnetworking.techtarget.c...213304,00.html

Dedicated Server: runs nothing but server services. Manages network connections, web sites, etc.
