Hey Rc, I'm not sure what your link is meant to imply, but for the sake of others have you been to some of the links on that page???
I'll give you an example of the hatred that these people are spewing....
"Re: Muslim Menace in India, What's the Solution?

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Two things in my mind stand in the way of resolution

    1) the technology for a more humane mass extermination isn't mature yet

    2) a massive global-scale event much more provacative than Sept 11 (and much much more provocative than the killing of 60 civilians)

obviously (2) is more important, but it's not sufficient in itself. I don't think there will ever be enough stomach to take care of the job via machete (unless we invite the Rwandans over) so 1 is still very relevant

But two obstacles I don't know how to deal with:

    3) you can't "teach muslims a lesson" you can either finish them or be finished. people say not to target their children but that is just suicide -- do you really expect their children to not remember what is done to their parents? at the same time we obviously can't poison ourselves by actually reveling in this killing, it is not to be enjoyed, but just a simple issue of duty

    4) the problem that was already discussed - how many hindus are actually hindus? many of the most religious are also the most ready to "build bridges" and compromise the positions of all of us...

The13th century Buddhist monk and prophet Nichiren zealously preached a doctrine of "Final War" (saisho senso) to be fought against the Christian West and the Islamic World."

I dont know about these guys are talking about Genocide....let that sink in slowly.....and then perhaps you could enlighten me as to why you posted that.....
Oh...do you happen to know any Muslims by the way?

Ever look at the photos of Hiroshima, after the bomb was dropped?
Declare jihad on someone who has this kind of weapon
and you show a suicidal streak.

We've been patient with the Islamic extremists, and have
not done anything rash, but more and more nations now have nuclear
    weapons.

I suggest you cancel the jihad and go back to selling rugs.

How exactly have we been patient again..? Last time I heard we had killed more civilians in Afghanistan that were killed in the WTC attacks. You didn't know that now did you...

"On Dec.10, the University of New Hampshire professor released his finding that at least 3,767 Afghan civilians had died in the first 8 ½ weeks of the war. With some help from media activists, a news release was faxed to the major print and broadcast media. Follow-up calls were made to journalists. Herold’s report was posted on the Internet, along with the database he had compiled, for easy access. "

Do try to learn more about Jihad, before you make your ignorance apparent again. I respectfully ask that you visit this link to learn more http://home.swipnet.se/islam/articles/jehad.htm

And what's so wrong with selling rugs

"The rest of the world envys America for it's greatness, (...)"
well, i dont think America is great. America is the last place i'd want to live in. And about the foreign policy, well that is the main reason America is hated for i guess. You say it brought freedom into Afghanistan. Afghanistan didnt ask for freedom. Do you know that about 70% of afghans agree with the taliban ? do you know that the only area controlled by the allied forces in Afghanistan is Kabul ? (the rest is a battlefield). I hate America for its policy in palestine. The state of Israel is illegal. I'm not antisemitic but i like history. They came to palestine as an occupation force, they left only Gaza and West Bank to the palestininans, and then , in 1967 they occupied even those territories. They commit genocides, Sharon even was accused by the internation court for crimes of war. Yet, America makes aliance with Israel, providing them weapons to kill palestinians. Over 600.000 childrens died becouse Americas embargo imposed to Iraq (what were they doing there anyway). America said its becouse of Iraq's invasion on Kuveit. But that AINT America's problem. Why dont you mind your own bussiness ?
"Did we not send in the troops to Somalia, when the people were being starved?" so when someone's starving, you send in troops. Why dont you send food ?
Another reason why i hate America, is its lack of culture, its commercialism, and the Hollywood movies. The goal is "make money", not "make art"...i dont see anything bad in making money, but it shouldnt be the goal with music/films/art.
Just becouse you are the richest country you think you have the right to dictate your policy arround the world. Well, where is your sense of democracy ? why dont you let people choose whatever they want ? Sadam is allected by the people, why do you want to take him down ? just becouse he has a different oppinion than you ? well, if this is democracy, then i dont like democracy.

And how many civilians were killed in Dresden, Tokyo, Berlin?
That's the point I'm trying to make. When someone gets the
wild idea that he can declare war against the USA, he can't
whine and complain when they respond with ten or a hundred
    times the ferocity.

When Hitler attacked Russia in 1941, his attitude was "kick the
door in, and the whole rotten structure will collapse"
Hitler, in despair, put a bullet in his own head. Russia occupied
    eastern Germany for a generation.

When Japan attacked Pearl Harbor, they thought "they will never
recover from this blow" End result, Hiroshima.
Loss of civilian life in Afghanistan can not compare
to the destruction that came down on Germany and Japan
    on a daily basis.

    My message:
Things could get a whole lot worse, and will indeed get a whole lot
worse, if there are many more incidents like the World Trade Center
attack. The "war" in Afghanistan will begin to look like a mere
    skirmish.

There's nothing wrong with selling rugs. In fact, If the islamic world
had more merchants and less "holy men", they wouldn't be trapped
in poverty, ignorance, and self-defeating violence, IMO.
I came in to the world with nothing. I still have most of it.

here is why painkeeper hates to live in the U.S.

Romania, one of the poorest countries in Central and Eastern Europe, began the transition from communism in 1989 with a largely obsolete industrial base and a pattern of output unsuited to the country's needs. Over the past decade economic restructuring has lagged behind most other countries in the region. Consequently, living standards have continued to fall - real wages are down over 40%. Corruption too has worsened. The EU ranks Romania last among enlargement candidates, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) rates Romania's transition progress the region's worst. The country emerged in 2000 from a punishing three-year recession thanks to strong demand in EU export markets. A new government elected in November 2000 promises to promote economic reform. Bucharest hopes to receive financial and technical assistance from international financial institutions and Western governments; negotiations over a new IMF standby agreement are to begin early in 2001. If reform stalls, Romania's ability to borrow from both public and private sources could quickly dry up, leading to another financial crisis.
I don't think any government of the world is working for the common rights of its citizens...
but to sit there and say how bad america's foreign policy is compared to those euro trash countries is a slap in the face... there not a country in world that has not been affected by europe... italy in ethopia (they still haven't recovered) how did the british get hong kong?
the dutch in south africa(mandela should have drove them into the sea) , british in india germany looting and raping all over north africa... sweden neutrality in wwii profiting from both side of the war...
    the sovient's in cuba...

To the person that gave me negs...:)

You said that I should do more research before I throw out numbers about Afghan civilians dead due to our bombing. Actually i did. Which is why I posted that, not simply for the fact that I was trying to make a point.
Perhaps you could give a number of afghan civilians dead so far. Just because they dont show it in the news, does not mean the figures are wrong..

"The host of Fox News Channel's "Special Report with Brit Hume" (11/5/01) recently wondered why journalists should bother covering civilian deaths at all. "The question I have," said Hume, "is civilian casualties are historically, by definition, a part of war, really. Should they be as big news as they've been?"
    http://www.fair.org/activism/fox-civ...asualties.html

"According to the Washington Post (10/31/01), CNN Chair Walter Isaacson "has ordered his staff to balance images of civilian devastation in Afghan cities with reminders that the Taliban harbors murderous terrorists, saying it 'seems perverse to focus too much on the casualties or hardship in Afghanistan .'"

We did send food man, but we also sent troops because there were warlords much like the taliban ruling the area, attempting to starve out the people there. The were attempting GENOCIDE. Much like the Muslims like to do to the Jews.

This thread is basically telling us that GOD is the biggest factor for the deaths of an enormous amount of people. Do you really thing that GOD, if he exists, would let that happen to people in his name. I don't think so. We all just have to settle our differences and we will soon realize that we are not different but all the same. Religion is the thing that tells us that we are different. Now not to bash religion or nothing but If you take GODs word and simplify it to the barest minimum what does it tell you. Just be a good person. Thats it folks. MrKangaroos foreign policy. If we ever tried it we would have 6 billion people shaking hands and giving out hugs instead of trying out new and cool ways to kill them.
