chaos theory in cryptography
Okay, I've been reading a lot about complexity theory (aka chaos theory) lately, and I think some of the mathematical models could be useful in cryptography. For example, the Lorenz Attractor can be graphed in three dimensions as an endless string that never intersects itself. Couldn't that be useful for key creation if someone took the coordinates and ran them through some kind of modular function?
