    Question Anyone has soundchip...

    Hi.
Sorry if I get a little annoying with this, but does anyone has the sound chip CMI8338?
The thing is that I can't get the sound to work under Linux, I've tried all the things I was told in a past thread I posted, but, didn't work.
So, now, if someone has or has had the same problem or knows how to figure out, ar anything about the sound not working with that kind of Chip, I'd really apprecciate it.
    10x.

Version of Linux and kernel used?

Chances are you will be able to find what you need at http://groups.google.com - this is essentially a newsgroups search. Put in the basics (ie CMI8338 Linux) and you will more than likely find more than one person with the same issue.

Hope this helps and good luck.
    Regards.
