Just as a thought, it would be interesting to scale the center column of the front page by changing the number of posts so that it would always be about the same vertical length as the column objects on the left. That way you get the most number of displayed recent posts without making the page more humungous than it needs to be.

That, and the network status box with "Intrustion attempts" within it could likely be elimated, with the "Intrusion Attempts" listed under "About Antionline" on the right column.

Any plans to add the occasional New Features thread into the AO announcements box? It would add a bit of life to it.
