Host server of WHAT?
ICQ? AIM? On a game, or plain IP address? You don't make any sense.

Unless you purchase a block of IP addresses you don't own your IP addy. The "host server address" or whatever you want to call it is his IP address at the time. Especially if he is running a dial-up modem. The ISP uses DHCP to assign an IP address to his computer every time he dials in. The ISP acually owns the IP that he is using, and it will changed every time he dials in. Also, with broadband, the ISP is still going to own the address, but depending on the ISP and contract he signed, his IP may not change very often.
