The best gift I got all day was early in the morning, joy of watching the boss get a minor electrical shock. Paid for it the rest of the day though. I got a headache, a broken finger and a bottle of codeine.

Best thing I ever received was amazingly from a client and not my own company.

A date with two absolutely gorgeous girls.
Granted, I'm not *techincally* an administrator of a network (besides my own), but I handle a lot of system and network administration for various clients, and one of them happened to know I had a crush on a particular girl, and managed to set me up on a date with her and her best friend (I'd spent a lot of time with her as a friend, but never as an official date cause she never let on that there was any interest... at least now I know differently). Had an absolutely **great** time!

I got more than the usual amount of equipment requests and a handful of network abuse cases. So in other words, I got more work to do. Gotta love the user....
