finding a bug or a exploit in unix flavours

hey can u tell me a way to find out any exploits, vulnerabilities, in any unix how do they proceed please let me know

i mean how do u start, if like u are looking for a exploit in ftp deamon, how do u start please redirect me if there is any thread having that information

Umm... and you're reason for asking being?!?!?! The only reason I can see you needing information like that is so that you can find the exploit, and actually exploit it to gain illegal access to a remote system... am I wrong in this? If not, I highly suggest that you delete this tread before you get slammed with negs...
