    Question Transparent Graphics

Does anyone know of a downloadable program which will let me type in some text, but with a transparant background? so i can use different fonts, and save it as an image.

preferably freeware if possible, and not too big ( im only on 56k ). Thanks.

    http://www.gimp.org/~tml/gimp/win32/

I don't know if it has the features you need

I came in to the world with nothing. I still have most of it.

ow yes the gimp has all the stuff you'll ever need..

depending on the graphic libraries installed, it can do nearly anything the commercial programs can

it might be nice if you gave us some information, instead of wasting our time. like the operating system your using, what you want to do with these images, etc.

If you just want to make text into grapics to use on the web because you want to use a special font, please remember what its like to use a 56k modem.
