a very good newbie book
i went to my local book store the other night and i saw a book that cought my eye its called "The Complete Hacker's Handbook : Everything You Need to Know About Hacking in the Age of the Web" by : dr.x , it covers a a basic introduction on everything from the hacker history to the hackers tool box to all the way through to maximizing security. its a great buy and a fun book to read i recommend it to anyone. look for it on amazon.com.

Another book is Inside Internet Security: What Hackers Don't Want You To Know by Jeff Crume. You can purchase this book at Amazon.com. I got mine free from the folks at IBM. They may still be giving them away.

I ve have the Dr x book - it covers a good range of info and alot of good links (although it is cuple of years old) Well recommended

Bucket me and you are some of the fortunate people I guess who got that book eh? hehe, it is a pretty good book. High 5 to IBM peoples. Love them for this good informative and yet free book.
