Irc server for port 80,23
is there an irc server that allows connections on port 80, or 23

Why would you want to do this? Are you trying to create an IRC server at work??? Hmmmm? TskTsk....Network Admin will have your head!
I'm sure you can bind an irc server to any port you want. I'm not too familiar with setting up an irc server, so maybe someone with more expertise will be able to help you.
Btw, you might want to post questions like this in the 'Newbie Security Questions' or 'General Chit Chat'. You might get a bigger repsonse. This forum is designed for questions pertaining to ths particular website.

it will go out 80, because that's the port that http is. also port 21 can be used as http. um if you dl mirc at www.mirc.com it will do a lot of the connection config on it's own.
