    use of sub domain?

    just wondering about how to use it any info would be helpfull

    subdomains can help shorten your URL..if thats what you mean...some services can end up giving you long URLs for ex:

    http://blah.blah.com/~user/website/

    sub domains will just shorten that to for ex:

    http://user.blah.com/

    anymore info needed?

    re domain use advice

    thanks for the info,swiftyMC[], just joined antionline and i just was wondering how to access my free subdomain.
    as the faq i've looked at doesn't say much about the use of this most useful feature.as i'm a total newbie
    could you or others point me in the right direction?

    You can edit your subdomain under the "Member Functions".

    I didn't see that post. Anyways, I'm going to start using AO's subdomain feature soon. Thanks JP for that feature!
