I have never had any problems with the e-trust AV. My former boss (with whom I still hang out with a lot) uses and recommends it to everybody. Like you, he does not like Symantec's Norton Anti Virus. I have used the precursor to the e-trust, called Innocolate It! and went back to Symantec, from which I have been very satisfied with.

As for known vulnerabilites for any AV suite, that should not be an issue per se (unless it has to do with the update feature) but as for detection of virii and the way it does it, is subjective. Here are some comparisons:

I am sure there are more.

    First we have:

has anyone here got any more info on how good or bad e-trust armor suite
    And then:
ive done alot of testing on it and i recommend it to anyone. has all the features you need and never misses viruses.
Sounds like you've answered your own question, no? It sounds to me like you're more trying to pick an argument than looking for information.

    Unhappy i dont think so

i did not anser my own question

i asked if any one knew of any bugs that i had not picked up on

and then i just said that i have done some testing and i think anyone looking should give it a go.

i did'nt say its perfect and bug free and ohh by the way does anyone know of any bugs.that would be ansering my own question. alittlebitnumb did'nt have any problems understanding english and ansering it.

    Its called English, learn it.

Now that was not very nice.

In all, all of this is irrelavent to the problem at hand. Does e-trust have bugs? Probably, but so does every other AV or piece of software. I am sure e-trust has patches if software bugs do materialize, but if it works for others and e-trust is selling it while getting rather good reviews I am sure it is worth recommending.

I am still not 100% sure if you mean "bugs" as regarding to:

    1. Catching and detecting virii
    2. The methods of finding virus-like activity
    3. Bugs in the software
    4. Vulerabilites in the software
    5. A combination of this list

Okay,so you mean combination of the list I gave you. Okay, thank you for clearing that up. As for "major problems" with the software, I cannot say 100% because I did not develop it.

So, my answer is the same as before.

We dont need to argue. I have been running Etrust since it was free and called InoculateIt.
I have liked it and it has worked great and never let a virus through.
