    java vitual machine for linux

    i install the JVM for my linux yesterday, however, it didn't ask me for the location i would like to install it, which it supposed to said on the sun.com, and after i installed JVM, i don't know what's the path to it, anyone can give me a hand? thanks.

    oh, i was trying to install LimeWire, but it requires the JVM, that's why i need to install the JVM and need to know the path applied to the installaion of the limewire.

    It's probably hanging out in:

    /usr/sbin/java

    If you still can't find it just try:

    find / -name "java"

    thanks smirc, i use the "find" command line find out the the java dir stored in /usr/java.
