    Greeks ban all computer games

The government of Greece is making heroic efforts to humiliate the nation in front of the entire world, by banning all electronic games. That's right; something as innocent as playing computer chess on your laptop in a hotel lobby is now a crime with penalties of up to three months in stir and a fine of 10,000 euros.
    WHAT A JOKE!!

You know, Being Greek that has got to be the dumbest thing they could ever possibly do. That would be like canceling all professional sporting events in order to stop illegal gambling here. Retarded.
    Alright take it ease

That has got to be the most upsurd thing I have ever heard. I can't imagine not being able to break away into a couple minutes of gaming to relieve some stress here and there. I mean c'mon.

*New Business Idea* - Selling computer games on the Greece black market.

Just Kidding! I'll just sell the bootlegs... I mean forget the whole idea.

Hmmm. Perhaps it's simply an over-the-top interpretation of a vague law? I have a hard time believing the Greek government would knowingly ban such a large variety of games. I think there is an easy way to tell if it's a gambling game: "Does success or failure on the part of the player mean a real-money difference in their finances?" "Is it a network-necessary game?"

If yes to both, then it's online gambling

What about Solitare?... will the whole Windows OS be banned because it comes with uninstallable (as far as I know..I've never really tried or wanted to uninstall them) games?

Thats so stupid. I've brought friends into arcades and have made bets but that was for coins. The really big money is over at someone's house infront of a TV.

i just want to know is how the hell will they enforce it? i mean with programs like kazaa and basic warez sites u can access these games easily and if they bring in some kind of proxy like the chinese govt theyll probably add a new offsite proxy which gives u full access
