RedHat7.3 with creative sb live 5.1

I just turned my good pc into a dual boot machine.

The specs are:
1.9ghz, 1024+mb rdram, 80gig HD, Creative Sound Blaster Live 5.1, Nvida Gforce 4, etc...

Anyhow, It is running WinXPpro and RedHat7.3.
I can use the sound card just fine with XP, digital and analog at the same time, or just one at a time if I choose.

I have digital speakers hooked up to my pc and analog going out to my 8 speaker surround sound entertainment center.

When I use RH, I can only get the sound through analog. It will not play through my digital speakers. The only thing I am changing is the OS.

I have searched and searched but have come up with nothing. I have found a couple sites that say it is supported (the sound card) but nothing about digital and analog.

Any help or suggestions appreciated!

PS. I know I have the newest drivers installed.

Ok, Try soundconfig...... That should start a program to re-configure every aspect of the card including the digital port...
