java for linux?
hi, i just wanna know where i can get a java.exe for linux because i can't open any java applets. I'm
not sure if my question is proper for this site but if it isn't then just please ignore this post. thank you

There is Java2 available for linux, and you can find it here:
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/download.html

Suspect,
Once you have the Java package downloaded and installed there is still a little work to be done to get your browser(s) working.
Have a look here http://www.mandrakeuser.org/docs/utils/ujava.html .... it is Mandrake specific but may help you, it certainly helped me.

thanks for the link, I needed that. This Java thingy is really stressing me out. Didn't have trouble installing
linux except for java ahhhhhhhh!! Hope i'll be done by tomorrow night. Thanks again for the help.
