    Nmap3

I had another problem with Nmap,
i wrote down my host IP address to scan for it but after exactly 46 seconds it stopped and it gave out the following output:

    Starting nmap V. 3.00 ( www.insecure.org/nmap )
WARNING: Could not determine what interface to route packets through to (IP address), changing ping scantype to ICMP ping only
Note: Host seems down. If it is really up, but blocking our ping probes, try -P0
Nmap run completed -- 1 IP address (0 hosts up) scanned in 33 seconds

if somebody knows what this means please tell me and thanks

It would appear that you have more than one NIC in your computer, and nmap can't determine which one to send the scan through... type nmap --help or man nmp for details of how to tell it which interface to use.
