UNIX is basically a simple operating system, but you have to be a genius to understand the simplicity. Dennis Ritchie.

    I'm a realist...
An optimist see's the glass as half full...
A pessimist see's it as half empty....
I see that there's just too much damn glass...

    i'm not an *ist,
but the glass IS half empty
where the feck is the other half of _my_ glass?
someone is screwing me out of half a glass, that i no doubt, paid for in some way.
some souless corporation is probably rounding up everyones half glasses,
which would give _them_ an almighty bollock-load lot of FREE half glasses.
and you are content to sit there and say the glass is half full!
    shame on you.
DEMAND AN OVERFLOWING GLASS, WITH A SAUCER.
    its YOUR right.
Hmm...theres something a little peculiar here. Oh i see what it is! the sentence is talking about itself! do you see that? what do you mean? sentences can\'t talk! No, but they REFER to things, and this one refers directly-unambigeously-unmistakably-to the very sentence which it is!

Nice Post Neo... I would have to say I am a realist... Now that the glass is half empty I have to go fill it up again... Damn

Interesting work. I always love poetry or creative writing of any kind and reading it makes my day generally. I hope that more AO member's can write some poetry, because it would be nice to have a few poet's/poem's here. I myself am a poet, and I'll be working on some poem's myself . Thanks again! -- Jason Copeland

I agree with you Allenb, it is also (I think) the engineer point of view
The glass is simply too big.

I'm thinking about another point of view, the all-the-time-angry point of view:
"There's water in my glass, I don't like water!"
