I'm looking for a good hex editor, but don't know where to start. There's so many of them.I have win 98,Mandrake 8.2,and win 2000(all on different comps.)so OS's aren't a big issue.I do a little bit of everything,so I need one that is well rounded, but not too complicated,as I haven't done much work with them.Does anyone have any suggestions as to what would be the best one for my needs?
What do you use and does it work well for you?

I just use the one included in Visual Studio, but in case you don't have it:
here are some for linux
I think these are all Windows hex editors
