the_JinX there are already a large number of MSN clones for Linux - I suggest you get and use one of those instead of reinventing the wheel.
I dont think jinx is doing it recognition as someone who brought MSN to lnux(since its already being made), but more as a learning exercise and for fun! who wouldnt want to re-invent the wheel!!!
