    ssh ftp windows xp

    I have sshd runnin on my home computer (win xp) i am able to logon to it from work (putty) but am unable to do many things the machine hangs. are there some settings for sshd . on my home side or is there something putty needs? any ideas .........

    If I were you, I would take a close look at the config file on your machine at home to verify the settings. Most of the options are self-explanatory from what I remember, but most people just enable it with all the defaults, which could be causing a bit of a problem for you, who knows. Maybe we could get a look at part of your sshd.conf file???
