    PCI modem RH 7.3

    OK guys heres the deal!

I have been using my external h/w modem until now, with absolutely no problems but ive got an internal Conexant PCI modem, which i decided to configure and use.

Well, i got this modem working *hoorah* , only thing is, the damn thing disconnects after about 10 minutes

Everything, as far as i know, is set up ok, so im baffled as to why the thing is disconnecting!?!

Ive got the modem set up on port /dev/ttySHCF0 and the driver is correctly installed (no error messages during installation)

Any ideas guys, as im still a *nix newbie

    Thanx in advance
