i have a friend trying to put osx on his pc... and he has a working concept that someone else did, so we know it can be done... but does anyone have any suggestions or ideas to share? it would be much appreciated.

i can verify that it can be done, i know someone who put OSX on his IBM laptop, he's had linux, xp pro and osx on it at some stage, so i guess if it can be done with a alptop it can be done with a pc, he did have to use third party ported drivers for the hardware, but it ran quite well once he got it sorted out

guess if it can't be done you could always put some form of *nix on it....
