    Network Stats

I've gleened some typical stats from several sources on the monthly toll that some here can claim as their own especally when they state that they own a site. I'll even trow in a few dollar ammounts. But as a general rule any large ISP, University or community college, or for that matter even the driving force small business in the USA endure all this in the name of a kid learning his web legs (sort of like sea legs only then you actually had to go onto and live on a boat or ship). Again monthly STATS

50 times a month any large computing systems is violated.
20,000 to 70,000 viruses carried by email are detected and scrubbed away monthly.
Most compromised are VIA: IRC, IM or file sharing programs most passed as games, music or movies.
A computer security incident can cost between $3,000. and $100,000. per breach. (Passed on Univeristy, College wise on higher tution costs). Private company maybe the Christmas bonus.
To many stalking, fraud, identity theft, and invasion of privacy to even count because of no or weak passwords.

So all I can say to anyone that arrives here and claim they own any site I will simply say you or mom as is most often the case in the USA now cannot foot the bill for ownership. If you have enough thought to own a site you think start adding up the math and then look about and ask if you like where you live enjoy your freedoms because your very actions may just take it all away. Simple fact is your acts increse the cost of everything and as the USA sits poised for yet another war we do not understand you own what? If it were not for mom and if your lucky dad footing your internet connect for such pranks on a massive scale what would you all have? I will simply say to want to be crackers foot your own costs like hackers do, if it were not for the sun shinning in the sky for free you could not afford your shadow, and if it were not for a mom or dad or both the paper to clean your rear end.

LOL lets watch the points on this one

im kind of lost on this one. are you saying that (in your opinion) none of the kids on here pay for their own net connection or webspace?

If so, just for arguement sake, I would like to point out that I (maybe one in few) have been paying for my net connection and any webspace since I was 15, now almost 21.

But in most part your probably right.
    Whats a \"START\" button?

Yet another oddly worded post by Palemoon. I don't think hackers care about the $ dollar amount of damage they cause. The fact that there hacking in the first place shows that there a little more ethically flexible then the rest of us.
Its not software piracy. Iím just making multiple off site backups.

Geez am I that cryptic cwk9? LOL ok new term then in view of the current corp climate then ethically challanged? I like it honest Judge here comes the Judge Basic stuff cause and effect and I did not say all crackers did not pay only most cause that is a fact, as is the dollar amount then throw in a M$ patch that on average costs another 3k per computer to test and apply and who is making money? It is not mom or dad now they are lucky to have a job, so my ethics are not challanged, I did not take the stock options, inside trade, nor own any system, find faults in them yes exploit anything nope, but lol I'm to old now I know nothing can teach nothing, just observe and offer a prayer because it is my way
