    Some good security tips

    1. Rename your computer.

    2. change your default drive letters (like C: operating system, to X: and so on)

    3. partition drives allow you to store all your program files in a different partition.
which is also better for the operating system and defrag.

    4. store personnal info in seperate drive or partition, so if your system does crash you dont loose your info.

Granted there are many more security techniques, but I thought these are some that are hardly touched on when talking about security.

Some problems with putting program files on a different drive other than C: is that every time you add new software you must specify which drive to add the software to and also some software only allows you to add it to C drive.
