Sygate good choice or not?
Im thinking about switching from zone alarm pro to sygate personal firewall pro. I have heard that you can monitor traffic better in sygate and have more control over which applications are able to access the internet. Can anyone tell me there experiences with these and which one you like better?

I don't use Sygate, I use Outpost. I have used Zonealarm, but still can't answer your question, but firewalls have been discussed here at AO many times. A quick search of the forums provides these threads which offer information.

Sygate it better than ZoneAlarm IMHO. I forgot who said it and where, but someone said (and I HAVE to agree, lol) that ZoneAlarm isn't even security. Calling it security is a sin if you ask me. ZoneAlarm does have a weird and at time annoying control over which programs can/can't run or access the internet. Still, I think Sygate is better.

If you go to google and type in the firewall name and "exploits" after it
Zonealarm=3,000
TInyPersonal=2,000
Sygate=1,000
Other than that, Sygate takes up less space and gives you much better security.
