MSCONFIG for Win 2000
Does anybody know what option on WIN 2000 is similar to WIN 95/98/ME 's msconfig.
I use msconfig on most 95/98/ME systems to make boot up faster and get rid off programs that I don't need to start at startup. I was wondering what command in WIN 2000 can be used to do this.
WIN 2000 does not run msconfig. Thanks...

From http://www.computing.net/windows2000...um/38271.html:
"You can run msconfig. It wasn't included with Windows 2000, but just do this:
Download it from this address:
http://www2.whidbey.com/djdenham/Msconfig.htm
and place it in the; C:\WINNT\System32 directory.
You can then run it from START>RUN>MSCONFIG..
Don't upgrade to XP just to get this, you will run into more problems than you want, trust me."
