    Question ????????????Snow White??????????????

    My mom told me about some new virus contained in an email about Snow White. She thinks she may have gotten it. If there is a new virus like this, what is it and how can it be stopped?

    Ummm, off the top of my head, I *think* its a trojan. I had it sent to me with the Subject "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" or something like that... But AVG found it straight away and delt with it for me.
    I dont think it's a new virus, and updating your Virus Scan and then scanning your Moms system should help sort the problem.

    If its the Hybris virus it's about 2 years old. Here is what Symantec has about it

    It's definitely the Hybris Virus and it's been making the rounds for quite awhile now. If you mom did get infected there is a removal tool HERE
