    FreeBSD ISO question!

    Hi guys

I have just downloaded two ISO's from HERE and was wondering if i now have everything i need to do a complete install.

The files i have downloaded are FreeBSD - Install (standard install) & FreeBSD - Disc 2 (Fix-it CD & CVS Files).

So my question again is do i need any other files from this page?

    Cheers

He means the ports tree, it's FreeBSD's answer to being able to install and upgrade your proggies. . .when you install make sure you choose to install the ports tree. . .afterward all you'll have to do is download the tar file for the program cd to /usr/ports/whatever/theprogis and type make && make install and all the patches and everything for the proggie will be compiled with it. . .or you can just use the packages, either way, I like both. . .but yeah it does sound like you have eveything you need to get BSD up an running! gl.
Every now and then, one of you won't annoy me.

The files i have downloaded are FreeBSD - Install (standard install) & FreeBSD - Disc 2 (Fix-it CD & CVS Files).
Your first CD is just for normall installation...and the second one..is to fixing or upgrading your package (you can use pkg_info command and then go with pkg_add) if you still need more package to upgrading your "bad Boy" you can install it from http://www.freebsd.org/ports
