Redhat online ?
Well, I am trying to get Redhat8 but the online FTP is too slow and times out after a few hrs.
Any ideas where else can I get it from online? Any FTP sites that are uncommon ?
Google hasnt been much help because those are all very common websites, and i can't get myself downloaded without timing out.
Thanks for the help.

Ahhh.. are you using a ftp program like Flash FXP that supports resuming ??
Cause that would help alot if you have timeouts...
But would it not be easyier to buy a Redhat 8 distro rather than downloading 5 x 700mb on a dialup ??

You're not on broadband or ISDN?
You could be downloading for days and days man, you sure you dont wanna shell out for the distro, doesnt cost much and would save you countless hours downloading!
Discount Linux CDs
Linux Central
Cheapbytes
Go on, you'll thank me in the end

Download Acclerator could also do the job, but i would choose FTP over ANY protocol anytime, for downloading =)
Well i never physically been to canada, but i downloaded from some pretty fast servers there.. so im guessing they have more than a few =)

Search for the IIT ftps. I had a list but I've forgotten them. They're usually really fast for us as they're hosted in India and are physically very close.
Also, check this out. You might find it helpful.
