    meanings

have you had a non-tech ask what an acronym stood for, and didn't want to look stupid because you didn't know. Like, "Whats a TWAIN Device?"

Now you can give tools without an important name...important sounding names:

    Transmitted Windowing Analog Imaging Node

maybe you just wanted to find the hidden meaning of your name:

Tedob1 = Turbo Environment Dynamic Option Bit 1

Maybe your trying to find the meaning of life:

Life = Large Integrated File Equipment

or just want to amuse a sick mind like mine:

    Fully-Upgradable Converter Key

then heres the place to get your answers:

    http://www.brunching.com/acronymer.html

just enter a word and click:

Bukhari:V3B48N826 “The Prophet said, ‘Isn’t the witness of a woman equal to half of that of a man?’ The women said, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘This is because of the deficiency of a woman’s mind.’”

Tedob's link is great for such acronyms as WLAN (Windowing Library Access Node), but for people's names use the Cyborger..:
    http://www.brunching.com/cyborger.html

-Zeta Electronic Replicant Optimized for Observation and Nocturnal Exploration

Btw, I can see it happen at irc.antionline.com...:

n00b: I'm not that dumb, what has my modem got to do with that?
1337: not _that_ modem, I was talking about Micro-Option Dynamic Environment Mode you fool!
